フラットマンドリンに合ったカポを探していたがいい商品に出会えた。サイズ感、締め付け加減の調整具合、そしてデザインも良い。ワンタッチではないがしっかり押さえるにはこの方がいいと思う。

Zunächst war ich etwas skeptisch, weil im Gegensatz zu gängigen Konstruktionen keine Springfeder verbaut ist und der Kapo einfach auf dem Hals festgeschraubt wird. (Das dauert natürlich auch etwas länger, als ihn einfach draufzuklemmen.)Es funktioniert allerdings tadellos und ist äußert stimmstabil und dabei vor allem auch schnarrfrei.Vorsicht: Die Fixierschraube ist selbst nicht fest (was für ein Paradoxon) und kann daher (auch versehentlich) ganz heraus gedreht werden. So habe ich meine neulich verloren.Der super Kundendienst von D'Addario hat mir auf Reklamation aber sofort einen komplett neuen Kapo zugeschickt. (Die Schraube allein hätte es auch getan.)Dafür ein dickes Extralob und eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

The mini capo is a blessing for the mando and 5 string banjo enthusiast as it is unrestrictive and remains unobstuctedly out of the way. For the mando enthusiast accustomed to the four finger 'chop' patterns then there is no need for this capo.However for the open and alternate tunings of the mandolin and banjo then the capo in review is a 'godsend' as it enlarges the tonal pallet of useable chords albeit only 2 , 3 or 4 sharps # — beyond that range then tone and resonance of the instrument will suffer.The mechanical screw adjustment is never a hindrance at the cup of the thumb and forefinger and a slight backward angle of the capo top barre towards the nut enables ample freedom. The quality of the capo is that of machine like precision of weighted metal.
