I bought this in 2021 and today I investigated after using it for years. Why my smoothies were always leaking. It started doing this for weeks and today I figured it out why.

The plastic material that houses the blade cracked. I was going to buy a new blender but choose to get a new blade instead (much, much cheaper) and it works just like the old one did but this ones not broken. Worth the money to try, a lot cheaper than a new blender.

I learned the hard way my old blender blade was cracked (liquid everywhere). I was going to throw the whole blender away when my husband inspected the blade and noticed the plastic was just cracked and suggested I check Amazon for a replacement. Lo and behold, here it is! Received quickly and works great. The rubber stopper is a little more flimsy than the original, but works just fine. It's good to know it can be replaced, though hopefully I won't need to for a while.

when my blender seized I thought it was toast. Amazon guided me through the search for parts, delivery was quick and smoothies are back on the menu! Much less $$$ than buying a new appliance.
