Le livre est très amusant et les deux enfants à qui je l’ai offert ont également beaucoup aimé la figurine de Sirius Black. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Le livre est en anglais, mais si on baragouine ne serait-ce qu’un peu, c’est très facile à comprendre.

I got this because I received a set of cast iron pans for Xmas. It fits the small & medium pans fine but I have to really work it to get it on the large pan but it still gets on & works fine. I was surprised how much heat it absorbs & how cool it stays. Good product.

Love this silicone handle for our cast iron pans. It slips on easily and is easy to remove when done but not so loose that it slips off during use. It covers the handle of my smaller frying pan completely and is still big enough to be easily used on the larger ones as well. Highly recommend this great little holder.

I love this thing. It works with the handles all of my cast iron pans, despite the fact that the pans themselves vary in size from 6" to 14" in diameter. You do have to think ahead of time and put the potholder on the handle while it's cold, before you start to cook, but once it's on there it works great. This is much better than my previous method of desperately wrapping a kitchen towel or loose potholder around the handle and swearing because the towel or cloth slipped. Of course one still needs to use caution when handling piping hot cast iron & food; like others said grip the solid part only and avoid touching the handle through the hole, and be careful of slippage on tinier pans. This holder does have some slight slippage on my tiniest pan with the tiniest handle, but it's manageable and again much better than the towel method. Initially I ordered one to see if I liked it or not, and most likely I will be ordering more. Paid full price for this, and would do it again. If you have cast iron pans, I would recommend it.

PROS:-Works great for lower temps/quick cook times-Easily slips on and off-Provides decent level of handlingCONS:-Honestly doesn't protect from heat once you're above medium/cooking for a while-Handling also can suck depending on the skillet/pan-can burn easily if you forget to take it offI did a lot of looking on amazon for the best cast iron skillet holder. The problems I saw with cloth ones were that they burn very easily, and tend to fall apart. The silicone ones all have a problem of not fitting well on most cast iron skillets and transfer heat through them a lot worse than they should. After reading many reviews, I came on to this one. As far as I can tell with my use, it's just as mediocre as all the other ones on the market. Ignore the 5 star rating, it doesn't fit lodge handles very well at all, but fit my griswold skillets a bit better. I'm going to do a bit of research and see if there's a better option out there, but as of right now, i don't think anything beats using an over mitt/matt or a towel.I leave 3 stars because I feel the hype was too high, so I have to knock it down a bit because it really is mediocre. If you're okay with that, sure, get it. Otherwise, don't waste your time.
