Love the wide jaws, serrations and they are very heavy duty. Great for hose clamps that are too wide for regular pliers. Nice tool to add to the arsenal.

This works much better than the round cup type one fuel lines. Grips nice and firm and the pliers are good and tight not sloppy like some cheap pliers. They are heavily made and a quality product.

This tools indented slots to capture the tangs on various low pressure automotive hoses that are the factory type , works welland allows multiple angles and access that conventional OTC type hose clamp pliers which only fit in one direction, don’t allow the versatility that this tool does. The pliers are not lose at the joint and fit a variety of hose clamp sizes and OEM styles on Japanese and American autos. I’m the photo, the purchased pliers are on the right and I’ve added an oring to save space in my tool box and keep the spring in the handles relaxed toReduce wear. On the left is a conventional hose clamp pliers that works best with singular tang clamps but not square tang clamps like the one in the photo. Previously a professional mechanic and now work on a variety of classic cars, race cars and my own vehicles, I found this tool a good value and good quality.

These pliers work great as long as you can get directly onto the clamp. The spring loaded design and simple slots in the jaw are perfect, my favorite tool of the day! (It was new radiator day)
