You’ll definitely like this starter the minute you open the box and take it out.Very nicely designed with detailed instructions.Could not ask for any better.Thank you to powermaster for manufacturing a great design over the stock gm starter.A++++++++

After 3yrs and 50k miles, this thing is still working perfectly. It spins at least double speed of the OEM starter. It even spun fast enough to make it difficult to realize one of the batteries had shorted out internally. I'm never using the OEM starter again, IF I ever need a new one.

Using it on my 6.5TD Optimizer H1 and it starts fast and fierce. Be careful torquing the bolts... the starter frame will collapse with the wrong amount of torque. Another thing to note, if you are hydrolocked (from a leaky injector)... this starter will crank hard enough to bend a rod. Great product and loving the fast and zippy starts!

This Powermaster 9052 cranks my 6.5L diesel like it's a little 4cyl engine! This thing has really improved my morning cold starts by getting those RPMs high enough for the engine to fire up easier. This sucker was also about half the weight of my OEM boat anchor starter that was starting to have slow starting issues even with my dual battery setup. This was probably one of the best purchases I have made in awhile and 2 months in, have had 0 issues so far. They even ship the starter with a little dyno sheet for your starter! To me, this shows that they actually care about having a quality product and show it by providing you numbers. Bravo to Powermaster! If I have any issues, I will update this review.
