Consejos de instalación:
1. Antes de comenzar la instalación, desconecta el cable negativo de la batería y utiliza calzos de rueda para bloquear las ruedas del vehículo.
2. El agujero en el cortafuegos debe alinearse con el agujero en la parte superior del brazo del acelerador. Determine exactamente dónde debe pasar el cable del acelerador a través del firewall.
3. Retire el conjunto del extremo del carbohidrato. Tira del cable interior de la carcasa del cable, inserta el accesorio de cortafuegos a través del cortafuegos desde el lado del motor.
4. Inserta el ajustador del cable del acelerador en el soporte de montaje del cable. Nota: debe haber algo de holgura para permitir el movimiento del motor.
5. Vuelva a instalar el cable interior en la carcasa del cable desde el interior del compartimento del pasajero. Conecta la horquilla (o el extremo de la bola si se quitó la horquilla) al pedal del acelerador.
6. Fija el conjunto del extremo del carburador al brazo del acelerador. Aprieta la tuerca.
7. Corta el alambre interior para que aproximadamente 1 pulgada del alambre interior permanezca dentro del conjunto del extremo del carbohidrato.
8. Inserta el alambre interior en el conjunto del extremo del carbohidrato. Tira de toda la holgura del cable interior y aprieta el tornillo de fijación en el conjunto del extremo del carburador.
9. Comprueba el funcionamiento adecuado del acelerador (y el retroceso si está equipado) y ajusta según sea necesario. Asegúrate de que no haya unión en el varillaje del acelerador y que el acelerador vuelva a la posición cerrada cuando se suelte el pedal.

used this on a 1953 chevy truck it worked fine but beware you can not cut the braided part so i made a loop to make it fit and it works

Installed this cable on a 54’ Chevy pickup I’m building for a customer. It didn’t have the end to use with a factory GM pedal that I used. Other than that- it was of good quality and works as it should.
