We had one that wore out after 35-40 years of daily use. Couldn't find one anywhere in the local hardware stores. This track kit works A1 and is identical to the original it replaced. Easy to install and hopefully will last decades.

We ordered this track knowing we would have to modify it. The track is actually meant to be installed on the upper inside ledge of a closet but we wanted ours installed on the outside of our armoire door opening.We cut the track to size (this was easy with a hack saw). We painted everything black using Tremclad and used 3 “L brackets” to secure the track in place. We used the included bottom track which stops the doors from swaying. Because our doors weren’t too thick, there was a gap between the armoire and the doors so we attached a piece of board down the left side to both cover the gap and as a “door stop” so the door doesn’t come off the tracks. We then installed a small piece of wood inside the track on the right side to stop that door (armoire is against the wall so you don’t notice that gap).Unfortunately we could not find end caps anywhere (hence the 4 star rating) that would fit so we had someone 3-D print them although you don’t really need them if you create a door stop for both. It just looks more finished.Overall we consider this track well-made and good value. It is sturdy and was easy to work with.
