The material feels sturdy and high-quality, and it’s easy to put up when you park. But, honestly, folding it back can be a bit tricky. It takes some effort to get it right, which can be annoying if you’re in a hurry.

This sunshade does it's job. The black interior of my CX-50 was cooking in parking lots during the summer, leaving the seat and steering wheel super hot every afternoon after work. I was looking for a quick and affordable solution - this sun shade does the trick! I was originally going to get a generic shade, but this CX-50-specific shade fits very well. There is some maneuvering required and it's not going to give a perfect pitch-black seal, but overall it decreases the temperature of my interiors quite well - just as I was looking for.

This shade fits very well and covers the entirety of the windshield, which is not common with many foldable sun shades. Of note is that this sun shade is VERY sturdy and it appears well made (especially the foldable flexible outer ring), which can be good or bad depending on if you have a passenger sitting next to you (they may get "bonked" on the head when this unfolds or folds LOL). Excellent sun shade at this price point for my Father's Mazda CX-50 Meridian Edition!

Living through the blast furnace that is a Texas summer it forces you to think about things that aren't really issues in other climates. Chief among these is how insanely hot a car can get when parked in full Texas sun and how much damage that sun can do over time. This sun shade addresses both points! It's not going to drop the interior temperature enough to keep groceries, but it will definitely make it more bearable for those first few minutes until the A/C kicks in. More important for me is the longterm value of protecting my car's dash. I hope to keep this car for many, many years to come and keeping the interior in tip-top shape will be important to me. Having seen how the sun has destroyed other dashboards, having something to protect mine is valuable.As for foldability, I will say that all of these sun shades have the same issue where it can take some practice to know how to get it folded back perfectly again. Take the time and stay patient and ultimately you'll get the hang of it! As long as this sun shade lasts for a few years it will be worth the price. If it doesn't, I'll be sure to come back and downgrade my review.

First, this fits my 2024 CX 50 windshield perfectly. I have had trouble in the past with windshield sun shades that do not fit terribly well, despite being designed for the car that I had. This one is easy to install in the windshield and stays put easily with just a small movement of the sun visors.It is flexible but the fabric and the frame both seem to be sturdy enough to hold up over time.The sun shade is easy to fold up and put back in the included case.This does exactly what it is supposed to do and does it quite well.
