The tape has good adhesive to it but the metal is very thin and the backing is hard to get off. But it did the job.

I purchased this aluminum tape to fix the connector thingy on my dryer. I had many concerns. Would the tape roll be too unwieldy and make it difficult to get it and myself behind the dryer to make the repair? Would the heat be too hot and interfere with the stickiness? And the odd angle, might it prove too challenging for the tape to manage to conform and seal the connection? My fears were unfounded. The tape has performed beautifully. I have been moving the dryer back and forth daily since making this repair early in Feb 2021 to inspect and so far do not see any defects. Well done!

I was wrapping my metal ducts with foil blanket insulation (in the attic) and using this product to tape the seams. The outside temps are 105 degrees in the summer which makes the attic temp somewhere around 135 degrees. Started in the early morning.Pros: On installation the tape hold well - will see with time and heat how well it holds. The 3" width is greatCons: The paper backing does not peel easily. This problem can get frustrating when you are hunched over in a hot attic and cannot separate the paper.Tip: To peel the paper tear at a ragged angle so that you can (hopefully) separate enough to catch the foil or paper with your thumb nails.

Well it's aluminum foil tape that I used to seal my ducts. Works great for that purpose. It's thin so if you plan on peeling it off again, it will tear. I didn't take off points for that because it does what it's supposed to do.
