I've done landmines / T-bar rows at home - but typically just setup a towel in the corner the hold the end of the bar. It works ok - but destroys my towel.I've seen other pieces of equipment like this that attach to big squat racks, which I don't have. The clamp on this one looks like it could fit my workbench base perfectly - and it does! I have a very specific kind of bench that came from a local place - so maybe I got lucky. When using this, the bench does not move at all. This platform is super stable - and silent. The first thing I did was googled "landmine exercises" and the last two days I have gotten some really good full body workouts - this platform has been solid - the pivot and swivel are super smooth and no noise at all.I really am thrilled with this. It is built super solid with nice thick gauge steel. It supports two bar sizes - I only use the larger. I say don't hesitate. I work out at home and this is a nice addition that doesn't take up any additional floor space, and really gives me some great new moves to add into my routines.(and please pardon the dog hair in the picture - with two German Shepherds there is only so much you can do!)

For years I've just shoved a barbell into the corner when I've done single-arm or t-bar rows. It works, but it also isn't exactly the greatest for my walls or my barbell. Also, I have to arrange the rest of my gym equipment in a way that allows access to the corner for these exercises. This is a great tool that allows for flexibility in placement of where you want to complete these exercises. I typically attach this to one of my weight benches to perform my t-bar rows, single-arm rows, and certain presses. You may want a more secure fixture like a power rack or something with a little more weight to it in order to prevent any potential sliding. This does exactly what I need it to do, about the only small change I would make would be a small support that holds the barbell insert up so it's easier to slide the barbell into. This is a very minor issue so it doesn't really matter in terms of the function of the product. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this swivel attachment.

I was quite impressed with how smoothly everything pivoted and how secure and stable everything felt even with the 360 degree swivel.Obviously this won't be as robust as the high end equivalents, like a Rogue Fitness landmine, but it's suitable for all but the most elite lifters and is a great addition to your gym at 1/3 of the cost. Using moderate to heavy weights, I suspect you could get 5-10 years out of it with constant use. Once you start putting on 4x45s (lb) or more you may want to consider a more robust model.I used a 2 inch bar and it was quite secure with the clamping bolt. For a quick install, you can use a bench as shown in the product displayed pictures, but note that a bench won't give you much friction and it can slight around quite easily unless you put it up against a wall. The clamping bolt doesn't have anything to protect your bench, so you're likely to scratch it unless you take precautions - I scratched mine.It also has holes to bolt down to the floor, I highly recommend using them. I'll bolt mine down in the future. Be aware that bolts are not included. If I had this while setting up my squat rack, I would have attached it directly to the squat rack. I wish the design was meant to be place on top of a bar or bench instead of under because then I could use it on my squat rack immediately. Also I may move my home gym into my house (it's currently in a detached garage) and I won't have the option to bolt it to the floor, so my suggested redesign would really give this product an edge over the other similar products on Amazon.

Since I have a dinosaur collection of 1-inch plates (and bars to use them with), I am always excited to find devices that fit them. This t-bar row platform accommodates both 1- and 2-inch bars, so perfect for now and if I ever decided to upgrade to Oly stuff, I'll be good to go. I love that versatility. As for securing it, it wouldn't fit anywhere on my rack or my incline bench, so be aware of that if you plan on securing it to a rack or a bench - it may not fit anywhere on what you have. You basically need a length of bar that is sturdy enough and high enough to fit the device. What I had that works, as you can see from the image, is my plate holder. The base is just long enough and big enough to fit the platform. It secures easily from there, the 1-inch bar fits, and the whole rig works perfectly. I put a small load on it to start, but there is no question it will take whatever weight my bar can hold. The range of motion is fine (I have fairly long arms, but no worries, it goes up, what, 90 degrees) and it also does swivel, so you have some training options beyond just T-bar rows. Pretty cool and I think superior to a landmine.
