This is exactly what I was looking for to protect my table, especially when working on projects. It is not too thick. It is very supple and not stiff. It can easily be trimmed. For dinners I use my tablecloth over it for some protection but I would also recommend using a hot plate for hot dishes.

I'm giving this a 5 even though I'm not using it as a tablecloth. I needed this type to put under our mattress in an RV, making it easier to slide the mattress when changing the sheets. It works perfectly! It is a well-made product that probably won't disappoint you if using it as a tablecloth as well.

Perfect lay, no wrinkles or seams stitched that would allow liquids through. Nice thickness and it does not shift around , lays flat and smooth.

Table pad was a very good thickness with a flannel back. I needed something to protect the table from cats. Works very well.

I wanted a table pad for my new wood dining table. Something easy to store and to put in place that would protect the table from spills and hot dishes. It definitely protects from spills but it’s not thick enough to protect from hot dishes. I’ll still need to use additional hot pads for that. I didn’t want to spend the money for the thick custom made table pads so this pad is great for the price.
