We're recently trying to potty train. We used pampers diapers for her whole life. These, in my opinion, are so much better than the pampers easy ups. The sides are like a soft velcro, to its makes it super convenient for changing her. They pull up and down for her to go on the potty easily. The velcro is super convenient if she pottied in her diaper. She hates public changing stations, I was able to change her while she was standing without taking pants or shoes completely off. She also likes to step into them then pull them up. I've had no issues with them ever leaking, even after sleeping all night. They are pricier than the others, but definitely worth it. And Minnie mouse design is a big win with her.

I have an almost 3 year old who is fully capable of using the toilet every time, but not 100% motivated. She was doing all the poops in the toilet and some of the pees, but it was clear peeing in the toilet was not a priority for her. Part of the problem, I felt, was that she was too comfortable - the other brand pull-ups we were using were too good at keeping her feeling dry (never thought I'd write that). I don't want to pressure her to use the toilet but I did want to change her experience; perhaps a little discomfort would help motivate her to use the toilet for all her business. So, I bought these Cool & Learn pull ups.Two things I noticed right away: (1) the fit is better than the same size in the main competitor's easy-ups we were using. These Cool & Learn pull-ups cover all of her behind while the competitor's rode up right away, (2) the sides on the Cool & Learn pull-ups can be opened and re-sealed, while the sides on the competitor's brand had to be ripped open with no ability to re-seal. The re-sealable sides has been useful already - once when my husband opened them because he didn't realize they weren't meant to be taken off like diapers, and then at the beach when her feet were all sandy and it was much easier to undo the sides and put the pull-up on like a regular diaper.As for the cooling sensation, I'm not sure how "cooling" it is. It wasn't enough to disturb her right away - the first time she wore these pull-ups she did pee in them and didn't tell me. When we next went to the toilet there was a strong odour of stale urine, more noticeable than a regular nappy/pull-up, so I figure they are doing something different (note: no leaking, and no rash despite her super-sensitive skin - though I wouldn't want to leave a wet one on her for a long time). That being said, since that first time she has been doing all her pees in the toilet and told me these pull-ups are not for peeing in. It's only been a couple of days, so who knows where we go from here, but the better fit, handy sides, and short-term success mean 5/5 stars from me.
