After reading about the product and the reviews, it sounded like it would be great for what I need it for, which is for travelling. I just got it and tried it out several ways - it can clip to your waist (or anything else you want it clipped to), you can wear it around your neck directly or cross body, and you can clip the loop around itself and use it as a hand lanyard (or anything else you want it to be a lanyard for). This is great if you are wearing a sarong/skirt and don't have something to clip it to.Caution: I'm about average height, and if I drop my phone from my waist, it comes close to hitting the ground but does not. If I gave it a push down then perhaps the elastic might stretch enough to hit the ground. You can shorten the length a little by looping it through a belt loop like a lanyard instead of directly clipping it on your pants. The only negative I experienced is just the nature of it's design, which is a tradeoff you make when you don't want a system that inserts into a case, and that is that it covers the corners of your screen, which can hide some things that you need to click. I read about this before I bought it, and I am willing to accept the tradeoff. Not having used it extensively yet I don't know if I will have a different opinion later, but for what I know now it is great relative to its inherent weaknesses.

I used this for 2 weeks on a trip in Europe. I did like it. I could lean over some ledge and shoot a picture into a valley/castle moat and not worry about dropping my phone while doing so. I could also relax while walking down the street using my phone for a map, and not worry so much about someone running up and grabbing my phone. I took off 1 star because the way it straps over the phone interferes with the screen a little bit in the corners, so you need to remove a corner to press something every once in a while. Not a major issue. And I wish the strap was about 12-20 inches longer. I clipped it onto my purse, but if I wanted to take a picture of something above me, like a painted ceiling, it didn't stretch far enough (i'm tall with long arms - may not be an issue for you if you are short). Overall, it was a good purchase and I'll definitely keep it for future vacations. Side note - use it a bit before you take it on a vacation. Took a few days for it to fully stretch out - the first couple days it kept slipping off before it got stretched out. additional benefit - I had a bucket type purse, and it was easy to find my phone because I could just pull the cord instead of rifling around in the purse like I do at home.

Easy to install and functions well as a safety option, unfortunately using the phone while it’s on isn’t easy. I use my phone a lot while traveling for walking directions and it’s hard to actually use the phone while the strap is on.

I love it! It’s sturdy and perfectly designed. All buttons on the iPhone are accessible, camera uncovered. Easy on and off, yet remains secure effortlessly. What a great addition is the S-hook, so convenient to clip on a belt loop. I use it all the time: on a walk, doing laundry, working in the yard; never a worry about losing my phone. Very pleased, highly recommend.
