never got it to work, app only supports 2.5ghz wifi and I am not setting my wifi for my phone for that! I could find the device on my blue tooth but the app would never access it.

The attachment for the flip type of light switch doesn't work due to a design flaw. First one was lost in the mail and when I finally got a replacement, the one reason I purchased this specific one (the ring attachment) doesn't work. The device is designed to be positioned a certain way and the attachment for flip switches can't reach the switch when positioned that way. Customer service is decent, but this item should only be bought if A - you're willing to wait a month and B - if you have a rocker light switch (the flat type) or a simple button to use this for.
