Glass is a great material to switch to for baking and I've really enjoyed using these for making homemade sandwich loaves, banana breads, you name it! They are very sturdy and easy to clean.

Perfect replacement pyrexbread pan for the one I broke. These classic pans are always perfect, smooth edges, well made, size and weight are as described. Elegant pyrex can easily airloom pieces toward down to the next generation.

This is a replacement for an old (45 yrs) Pyrex 'Loaf' Pan that I've used for years to bake breads and meatloaf. This glass quality is not as clear but still as thick - it's that odd light green hue used now in place of another property that made the glass totally clear and, I think, a bit stronger against knicks or scratches. At least a newer Pyrex loaf pan was damaged with chips and a crack along the bottom after only a couple years of use. This is why I ordered these glass pans again - I use them often. I wish I'd taken more of my Mom's pyrex after she passed away - hers were still fine, and clear!, after purchasing the products in the 1940's! I still recommend these loaf/bread pans for good baking results.

These are really wonderful for so many different things. It makes the best meatloaf, bread, pound cake, and many other baked items, savory and sweet. I was really getting frustrated with my metal loaf pans because of the scratch marks that were rusting. In addition even when I greased the metal loaf pans whatever I baked in them would stick like crazy! I was constantly having to rip apart and dig out my meatloaf or bread loaf. There are certain things that need to come out of the pan hot and cool on a wrack so it doesn't over cook, like bread or cake. The metal pans also cooked much hotter and would end up over cooking the outside of the food, these bake nice and even all over and throughout. The glass is surprisingly non stick with a light coating of non stick spray, and I can even use parchment or was paper to line if I want easy clean up, or to simply lift the loaf out of the pan. No fuss no mess. Lol I love these pans, and it was a great deal to get two for the price. I waited to long to switch over to glass, would reccomend these to anyone at any level of baking/cooking.
