I have a basset lab mix, she's kind of short and long and very beefy. I ordered the medium. She is about 50 lb, so I was hesitant whether to get the medium or the large and I'm glad I went with a smaller size. It works well when we take her out on the paddle board, and my daughter was super excited about the mermaid print

I was worried about what size to get since my dog was 40lbs and right at the top end of a M and low end of a L. We got a Med and she fit great in it with some room to spare. Kept her floating great, and the big handle on the back was super convenient to lift her in and out of the water from the dock.

The life jacket is great. I bought this for my 7 monthly old corgi and it fit her perfectly. The material is great quality and the straps provided enough room for her to grow into this life vest and wear it while she gets bigger. The vest dried pretty quickly after taking it off of her and leaving it out in the sun. The only issue that I had, which isn't really with the vest, is that when placing my dog in the water she would swim for maybe a few feet then she would tip over and I would have to either pick her up or straighten her back out. I think it maybe had to do with the fact that she is still small but it kind of threw off her buoyancy. Overall this is a great product and I am hoping that as my dog gets bigger the buoyancy issues wont be that big of a deal. Definitely recommend this life jacket just keep and eye on your dog if they aren't used to wearing a life jacket.

I love the look of the product and it seems to be great quality. I am not satisfied with the sizing of the product though, I first ordered a large which I had to return for a medium. The large was HUGE on my dog (45 pound lab/beagle mix). I tightened the straps all the way and it was still so large that the Velcro overlapped and wouldn’t even stick, you could’ve fit another dog in there! (LOL!). So I receive the medium excited to use it, it is so tight on her! The Velcro won’t even come together and the buckles snap when they’re all the way loose. I feel as if there should not be that big of a difference in sizes.
