I was working on redoing the seats for my 1986 Procraft fish/ski boat. The raccoons torn up the seats and popped off all of the covered buttons on the upholstery. I used this product to make the covered buttons I needed and it worked perfectly.

This is an excellent tool for pressing buttons. Very good price also. I had to drill some dimples in order to make things stay where they are supposed to be by using the set screws, but with some slight modifications this is a excellent tool.

No viene con instructivo, las piezas aunque aprietes los tornillos se sale y no cabe el dado abajo del palo que empuja para forrar el botón.
Funciona muy bien excelente calidad

Like others,the box came damaged, no instructions, no dye to cut the right size of button and the lever to adjust the height will NOT budge. I would give this 1 star if it weren't for the fact that I got 30 buttons made but out of those 30, 2 came apart. In addition,I bought some #30 button parts of another brand and they would NOT fit. This is distressing because I am not sure what to buy when I need to make more. Spend a little more to get quality...

The box it came in was ripped open because the packing was not done well. The part that should raise or lower is frozen and un movable so if something is too tall or too small it won’t work. So you can’t adjust for the different heights. No instructions. No template for cutting the fabric. The red balls were cheap and the piece that covers the open pipe on the top is just sitting up there. Not a snug fit. If you brace on that part and I do it comes off every time. If it wasn’t for another review that mentioned a video which you can find here or on YouTube we would have had a great difficulty in assembly. As it was the guy in the video has perfectly machined parts and it goes together easily. You get ok parts and will struggle a bit. After some frustrating assembling I did make a couple of test buttons that went together well. As long as I don’t need to raise or lower the device I should be ok. I chose this button maker because if the price point and ultimately it’s going to get it done.
