I wear shooting glasses to protect my eyes most of the time. Driving, fishing on party boats, shooting clays, or anything that can hurt my eyes ! They are comfortable, help with contrasting in unusual lighting conditions. If a strike occurs and they are damaged, they are a lot less expensive than my eyesight ! A huge bargain !

After experiencing issues at matches due to eyewear that fogs too easily, blocks some of my vsion, or is too dark or the wrong tint, I purchased about 10 different pairs of eye protection to suit different conditions. These radians (and the red/pink ones) have risen to the top of my list. The frameless design does not obstruct any of your vision which is critical for any sport, but is especially vital for skeet, 5-stand, and sporting clays, where your target is typically skyward and presents in your peripheral vision. The wrap around design protects well from dust and debris, and bits of broken incoming clays. The narrow armatures also fit nicely under over the ear hearing protection, so the ear cups still get a good seal, and you end up with less of a sunglass tan too. Overall, these should be in the range bag of any shooter at any level of the game. They're inexpensive, and perform very well.

These are range glasses extremely versatile. They work in all lighting conditions. The amber lens makes everything "pop". Great at dusk and great for contract. Perfect for clays. The bows are very thin yet durable so they work well and comfortably with ear muffs. Care must be used not to scratch the polycarbonate lens and cleaning should be with a lens cloth or similar. They are durable and scratch resistant but not scratch proof! The lens is large with very broad coverage and very low distortion. The nose piece is comfortable and securely in place. They seem to be constructed well and with proper care should last for many years. These are not cheapo safety glasses. They are well worth the price. My only knock is that it has been difficult to find an inexpensive case to store them in my range bag. That most certainly doesn't detract from the 5 stars I gave them.Note; I have the same glasses in clear too. I use the clear indoor because I typically bring a different bag to the indoor range and they stay right in there. But I would be equally content to just use the amber lens for indoor.

You might be tempted to buy some of those cheaper glasses that you see on Amazon. Don't. Spend a bit more and get these, especially if you wear over-the-ear hearing protection. The wire-like frames make it so these glasses are barely felt under hearing pro. Any shooter knows that this makes for much better noise reduction, since the hearing pro is held closer to your ears. Also, the way these glasses are sized make it so they cover the entire eye, including peripheral vision, but are not so close to your face that they fog up. I have not experienced any fogging with these glasses yet. They are perfect for my needs (indoor range shooting), and I'm sure they would be great for shooting clay too!
