Great bins for three basin sanitary cleaning of tableware and cookware. I especially chose this set for the color of the wash basins. My intended use is for outdoor events and for events at rented sites with relatively minimal kitchens.

Not for baking pans. Will tip over. Only good for small items such as cutting boards.

I used one to organize my large bowl lids. They were always in the way or on top of each other so I couldn't find the lid I needed. My second one I put in my cupboard above my fridge to keep my cutting boards organized. I highly reccommend these.

I have other 12-quart dishpans at home. When I unpacked these, I knew right away that they looked smaller, but I compared them to my others. Then, I took some measurements, from the inside top edges: 12.5 by 9.75 by 4.75 inches. This comes to 579 cubic inches. One quart of liquid takes up slightly less than 58 cubic inches. So, this dishpan holds a maximum of 10 quarts. However, the pans are not 'boxes', but have tapered sides, getting smaller towards the bottom, so they actually hold less than 10 quarts.These pans might be good for soaking your feet, if you have small feet, or for hand-washing some small items. However, if you want to use them for washing dishes, there had better be only one or two people eating, and you'd better be using small plates.These are going back, and the search continues ...
