I have this in high traffic area and it is still sticking strong. It pulls the two rooms together well. Exactly as pictured and very easy to install.

I've got two entryways from hardwood flooring in the hallway onto ceramic tile in my great room area. Because I needed backer board over the subflooring before I could lay tile, the resulting floor ended up about 5/8" higher than the hardwood. I was going to try to custom fabricate tapered wood transition ramps to bridge the height difference between floor surfaces before finding this product as a possible solution. The two openings totaled just under 6' in width (together) so I was able to fit both by trimming this one strip to the sizes I needed. I feel I ended up with a professional, finished look with minimal fuss cutting it to size with a utility knife and metal straight edge. So far the strip's holding up well, but that's with only a few weeks worth of foot traffic while we're still in the habit to stepping over the transition space. At this point, I'm pleased with the product and feel relieved that I've reduced potential tripping problems.
