Great Glove for 10u+ catchers. Strong construction, efficient padding and low recoil. Ball transfer to throwdown is easy and broke in in about 2 days at home with traditional work.Youth player last glove was getting bullied a ton with harder throwers but this one has held up well. Thumb is protected really well and palm padding is efficient for missed catchesPitchers love the presentation and easy to focus on.Cleans up really well after hours of play.

Got this for my son for Easter. He is only 8. And we have had it for a while. He is able to use it however it is super hard to break in, like most new gloves.

Overall, for the price, this is a nice mitt. However, I expected the leather quality and broken in sense that my sons fielders glove Pro Lite from 2 years ago had. That 2 year old model was a higher quality leather and came truly game ready after one round of glove lotion and wrapping. This feels a bit cheaper and a bit harder to break in. That said, not bad for the price and he will use it hopefully for a few years to come

I have bought 3 gloves for my 10yr old from the Pro Select Lite Rawlings line - and have not been disappointed once.On this 32" catchers glove.PROS:1. So far it seems more durable than other gloves I have seen in this price category.2. Padding so far seems better than other gloves in this price category.3. I like the feel of the leather, the cushion, and the pocket more than the Rawlings Renegade line, Wilson, and Mizuno in this price tier too. (which I consider $50-$100 USD)CONS:1. This glove will take a little bit longer to break in. It is not as ready to go as the infield/outfield gloves in the Pro Select series. This is not really a bad thing - just note that. To get mine broken in I used a mallet on the outside to break in the fold seem, played some catch, and used the shaving cream method (youtube is your friend) and it is 80% ready. I think with another a week of light catching and it will be ready to go.2. SIZING - might be an issue for some kids though. My 10yr old son is average size and the finger stalls in this glove are a little larger than ideal IMO. (I wish the finger stalls were a little closer to the 31.5 inch Rawlings Renegade which are a little smaller than this. These seem the same as the 32.5 in Renegade.) The other Pro Select Lite gloves have been perfect for him, but this catchers glove is just a little larger than the rest of the line. My adult hand can fit in this glove (tightly) which to me has been more or less the test if it is a little large for him. I might recommend this for a bigger 10 year old and 11-13+ years olds due to the finger stalls. That said, my 10 yr old can close it fine - and as it breaks in I'm sure it will get better. I also think he will wear an additional padded inner palmguard glove so the extra space may actually be beneficial.Overall - I love this line of gloves and this catchers glove is no different. Soft leather. Not too hard to break in. Not too heavy. To me this line is a near perfect blend of price and quality. I 100% recommend.
