Installed without any difficulties after viewing YouTube Video. Be gentle with it as you remove and thenReinstall the new one. Mine had that little red button which I never used. This one had No Red Button.So, after trying to transfer the switch and button from the old keyboard I decided to just remove thelittle red button and glue it onto the new keyboard. No issues regarding placement of the supplied ribbon cable and the performance of the keys. I double checked all of them. Local PC Repair Shop would have charged me around $150.00. Fixed it myself for around 23 bucks !!

A plastic plug comes in place of the trackpoint on this keyboard. Whenever you press the "b" key, it gets stuck under the plastic plug and types "b" forever until you un-jam it. The build quality is awful, feels terrible to type on. The function key row is raised and presses against the screen when the laptop lid is closed. Totally useless.
