I ordered some cedar shavings, l plan to put the shavings in these bags and make cedar sachets for drawers for clothes and to put in kitchen pantry drawers and cabinets to help deter ants and other bugs.

In our household, we drink tea. my husband drinks coffee, too, but we don;t drink soda or juice or other soft drinks. We drink tea and water. And none of those bag teas - we like the good loose leaf stuff, because there are no hidden additives or "flavoring" (that is likely gluten or corn-based). It's just 100% organic herbs and spices, nothing more. But what we do NOT like is how those tiny fine particles get out of every strainer ever, and then you are drinking tea and little bits of stuff. Not really a pleasant mouthfeel.I have tried every type of tea strainer out there, and have just not EVER found one that can keep in the tiny particulate matter - it's just too small.Enter the reusable "spice" bag - or as we use them , the reusable tea bag. Because there is a strong and thy can be tied up and nothing escapes. And we have cup after cup of just tea - only liquid, no particulates. No powder, no loose herbs.Huzzah! You earn your five stars, lovely cloth tea bags! Because you are good for the planet, and good for our mouths! And a pack of four will last my household for years - best value ever!I imagine these could also be used in soups and sauces where one doesn't want the herbs to stay in them, but just to flavor them. But we just use them for tea, and they get plenty of use!
