Turned it on and tried it with elec. only and battery only. It came on with propane starter clicking and then just stopped after a minute. Called company and was told that the one I had must have a defect and to return it to get another one. I did that and the second one did the same thing. Asked if the battery was only to make the starter work, they said no.
