Absolute rubbish, the materials in these are substandard and ineffective. I purchased these because they were recommend when I searched for 2" stripping discs. When compared to the other weirdly branded ones that I had purchased prior to these ones are junk. The non woven medium seemed to lack any impregnated abrasives and just likes to fly apart. The quality control on where the attach to the arbor also leaves a lot to be desired. I use Similar style products (Scotch-Brite, Empire Abrasives, etc) in my shop all of the time and these ones are junk.

This type of abrasive disc works very well for surface oxides and paint. Sometimes you need to do more precision work where an angle grinder or disc sander is overkill and that's where these discs shine. There is some flex in the abrasive material, yet it is 'hard' enough to be abrasive. Ingenious really to be hard yet soft, so it's easier to not damage the workpiece. These don't clog or gum up as quickly as sandpaper, but they do gum up depending on what you are working with. I had a reasonably long useful life taking down some varnish. Be prepared to burn through these discs more quickly on gummy finishes versus just removing rust. Finally at twenty bucks for thirty discs plus a fine quality mandrel the price is quite reasonable.

Love these. It will wear down aluminum but works amazing for steel cleaning
