This umbrella even beats my very expense BLUNT umbrella. Its handles well on windy days, very sturdy, easy to hold, raise and lower. It never leaks, even if it is pouring rain. The only downside, it only adequately covers one person, due to it's small size.

There is a velcro strap that holds the material tight when it is stowed. On a regular umbrella, this is on top of the umbrella when in use. But on a reverse umbrella, it dangles down while using the umbrella. This would not be a problem if it was in the rear of the umbrella, but the grip of the handle makes you hold it in one direction, and so the strap is dangling in front of your face. Very distracting and not a good look if you're meeting someone.You could tie it up each time you use the umbrella, but that takes two hands making the umbrella very un-handy. I'm going to try removing it and sewing it on the back of the umbrella, but I have doubts about this since the underside of the umbrella seems like a more fragile material than the top. Speaking of which, because this underside material is on the outside when folded because of the reverse-umbrella design, I worry about it tearing when I am carrying the umbrella folded up.Repel should fix this design with the strap in front.

The canopy is in top shape, resists wind beautifully.The handle is an entirely different matter, while holding the main handle with my thumb in high wind it sheared when the wind was blowing in the opposite direction. Its basically a hollow straw.I find the phrase 'only as strong as its weakest chain' is apt here, this means that the no-matter how strong the canopy the handle renders it useless for handling in high wind. The fact that it broke in its first real test is failure of the highest order and to say I am disappointed is an understatement. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This is a great product, but the whole "LIFETIME REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE" equals no guarantee!I've owned this umbrella for almost two years now with no issues. However, one of the metal tips that secure the double canopy in place recently snapped. I'm not sure how the damage occurred, but now the bottom layer of the canopy is hanging loose. I don't believe the product is defective. This is likely something caused by human error.My issue is not with the umbrella, but with customer service. I reached out to them inquiring about repair services, and to my surprise, they responded within 24 hours. Their response was, "Thank you for reaching out! At this time, we do not offer repair services. However, in regards to our Replacement Guarantee, if anything happens to your product simply reach out to us thru this email providing your Order Number and state the issue. From there, we will send you a replacement product free of charge (with no return required)."I replied the following day, but I never heard back! I followed up eight days later requesting a status update, only to be ignored. Eight more days later, I still have not received a response or a replacement!Honestly, if I didn't qualify for a replacement, I would've been fine. But some professional courtesy would've been nice! As much as I love this umbrella, this whole ordeal left a terrible taste in my mouth. So much so that I find it difficult paying for a replacement, something that I would've gladly done before being neglected.
