This charger works but only if you have a working battery obviously. I mistakenly returned it because I thought it wasn’t working. In reality it was my battery that was broken. So if it doesn’t work for you maybe consider the battery.

I was on the fence about this light because there were other lights that looked like they would be just as good for less but I really liked the idea of the app to control it on my phone. I am glad that I went with this one! The integrated temperature monitoring and the ability to check it remotely on my phone is an added bonus. I also love the light modes and being able to control and create custom modes as well. It was extremely easy to set up and get the ap paired.All of this said, I have only had it a couple of days. If it performs well over the long haul, I will be buying additional units for other aquariums in the future. From what I have seen, the app also makes it easy to control and monitor multiple lights so it will be even better.

The light is actually quite nice. Very bright LEDs and the unit is solid aluminum. The cover over the LEDs is glass as well and not cheap plastic like on some models. I also like that the mounts lift the light up above the tank about three to four inches. The only down side was the power supply for the light wouldn't work. It was dead out of the box. Luckily I had a power supply for another aquarium light that was the same type and it works fine now. The phone app is nice too. A lot like the Fluval app but with more features. The thermostat is nice as well as you can monitor it from anywhere and it will send an alarm for your high and low settings. Would have liked to have given it five stars but couldn't due to a DOA power supply. Cheers. 11/03/23 Company contacted me and was very generous and sent out a new power supply to me. Adjusted to five stars. Again, a very nice light for the price.
