The BEST thing I have come across for my bird feeders!! I just reach up grap the feeder, pull it down, attach a cord and let it go back up. Fill the feeder, pull the grab cord and reattach the feeder. I love these things I've purchased 6.

We have about 6 of these on our assembly lines and some of them have been in service for at least a couple years. So far we have no complaints and no failures. We use them to hold up our electric and pneumatic screwdrivers.

Force is way too high - beyond the ratingSet it low and the tool drops.Set it so the tool does not drop, & you cannot pull it down easily.... hard to recommend this product

This is a very handy item for lots of unusual situations. I added an electric pulley to my wife's scooter car carrier and I needed something to take up excess cable. This item works well. I'm not sure how long to will work in a outdoor application, but we'll see.
