put these in the other day most seems good quality but 2 of the tensioners i'm pretty sure haven't activated fully

This tiny V6 engine in our Buick Enclave - now being used by our grandson for school transportation - is one heck of a nightmare in terms of what needs to be replaced in a "timing chain" update. LOL, it's 3 separate chains, over a half-dozen guides, at least 3 tensioners, 4 separate VVT Phasers (wow!), another misc. 3-4 sprockets of varying type, and a few more bits that don't come to mind at present. How do I know this off the top of my head? Because I just put all these parts into this engine and then put the timing cover back on it. Sheesh! Big job, but not bad since I had grandson helping and he's pretty mechanically inclined as a student of mechanical engineering - he kept us on the right track. And this kit HAD EVERYTHING we needed to do the job. I was impressed. We could have sprung for extras to do "while we were in there" but I replaced this chain based on time, not on miles, simply thinking the car is 14-ish years old now and it's never been done, despite only 80k miles on it. It was worth it. Those old phasers were clogged and we barely knew it - we just thought the engine was losing power. This engine is just fine, and now it takes off like wild banshee when I hit the throttle. Super to have the VVT advance working on the cams again. Very happy with the quality and completeness of this kit, and my grandson gives it the big thumbs up as well.
