1200' at 7.5ips is, for me, about 33 minutes. Not quite long enough.Great tape though. No leader or auto-reverse foil included. Amazon, please get the 1800' ones in stock so I can Prime myself enough length to put a full 40 - 45 minute album on each side (Sign 'o the Times, anyone?). They're out there, but Amazon is always easiest to order from.

Great tape for my machine: a Fostex R8. My tape path is well worn, so I had a lot of oxide flaking off at first. After cleaning the path and rotating the guides, I was able to mostly prevent this. This tape works for me and sounds great. The LPR35 tape from RMGI sounds okay too, but it comes apart and makes a mess much faster in my machine,

These are studio quality tapes. You Must Not Settle for Old Used Tapes, they will not sound like this. If you want your recordings to sound like professional quality and sound as good as a studio master tapes, these are sensational with minimal background noise. More and more many are beginning to realize that analog recordings sound more realistic and have more dimensional depth than digital recordings. Discover it for yourself. Yes it is more expensive to record with analog tape, but in the long run it pays off. Get those old tape machines restored and cleaned up and start using them again. These tapes will bring out the best of your equipment.
