These speakers really sound great! I installed them on my wakeboard tower and they are clear, loud, and actually have a lot of bass for a 6 1/2” speaker. I initially hooked them up directly to my deck, and they sounded ok, not much low end. But they really came alive when I connected them to a cheap Pyle amp. I can’t believe the sound! The amp I bought was a $78 Pyle 1000 watt 4 channel. They are actually getting probably 100 watts each, but they work.

Copied below from another review and exact same problem happened to me. Worthless customer service that takes forever at your own expense. They send a defective product out and expect you to send it back to them at your expense. Do not waste your time or money, find another product. Sound from the one speaker that did work was average at best. Plug connector to power LED lights are too big to conceal in a boat wake tower application unless you plan to zip tie it to outside.“I usually don’t complain on websites about products. I purchased this item about a week ago. I got the item and installed on my boat to find on of the speakers was dead. The tweeter worked but the main speaker was defective. I have contacted Amazon with my concern and because it’s a third party seller it has created another problem. Having to deal with the seller and amazon has been a huge disappointment. I had a time frame on getting all my stereo equipment and installing. I have a big weekend planned for July 4th. So I’m left with being out the cost and also not having replacements in time to have the stereo completed. Please don’t waste your time buying this item. The seller sent an email via amazon stating the manufacturer had a known defect with the speaker and LED combo. I was instructed to replace with a product from Kicker Brand it to buy the same speaker without the LED. Trust me this is a horrible purchase. It takes the seller 3-5 days just to test your defective product. You have to get an RMA to send it back to Audio Savings and then ship via UPS. Then their time frame for inspection, then sending you the results of their finding and giving you a replacement or refund. This is a huge headache and if your in a time crunch don’t purchase this item. The price was pretty cheap, I guess that should’ve been my first clue to the quality. I’ll probably have to figure out how to separate the speaker from the housing and go purchase a speaker from Fry’s, Best Buy, or Academy. Just be forewarned and if you purchase know that your getting defective product that amazon can’t really help you with. So I have warned you!!!!”

Got them quick and they are as advertised. Very nice and built well. Mounting was quick and easy, came with tools to mount and has about ten foot of insulated speaker wire per speaker for connection to your stereo. Sound is good quality directly connected to your stereo system, but I suggest using a small amplifier to really enjoy what they can do. Would buy again.
