Nice basic mattress cover. Quilted but not too thick. Just enough to add some comfort and coziness to the crib. It doesnt work it's way off the mattress. I dont really know if it keeps the baby cooker or not, but it does the main thing we need - which is protect the mattress.

Crib mattress protectors are pretty essential to handle bed wetting and accidents quickly and simply.This is our 4th one and we have three crib age children so these mattress protectors are working hard.I would say this Beautyrest Kids Silver is a higher end mattress protector then most of the ones we have. It is puffier and more breathable in the outer layer. It obviously works and keeps more liquids away from the skin and all of it out of the mat. Easy to wash in the washer and dry.I would select a crib mattress protector mostly by the price if the quality is adequate. Even though the price point of this one at the time of the review is showing initial signs of diminishing returns, I still recommend it as slightly better than our average $15 protectors because of these qualities.A nice trick is to put two mattress protectors under a fitted sheet so if you are quickly changing bedsheets in the middle of the night you don’t have to get another bed protector but just a new fitted sheet.

This is a fantastic mattress pad cover that performs as advertised. My 3 year old daughter sleeps very hot and often wakes up sweaty and upset. This mattress pad cover has honestly kept her cooler and more comfortable at night, which means less waking up at night (which means more sleep for everyone!!).It has a soft and puffy feel to it, with lots of cushion for just a mattress pad. I really love that it has a waterproof backing. We are at the tail end of potty training, but my daughter still has the occasional nighttime accident, but really wants to be a big girl and not wear pull ups.Overall, this is by far the best quality mattress pad cover that we've owned and I highly recommend it!!

This mattress pad seems to be nicely made. It's not overly plush, but with a crib mattress pad you don't really want a super thick one. It fits well on the crib mattress and seems like it will take you through the baby years. The fabric does feel a bit stiff and makes a bit of a crinkling sound. I prefer the softer feel of the organic cotton mattress pads I have from another brand to this one, but this one is good, too.
