I recently found an older 600 series roomba - the 655 that retailed from costco - at a thrift store and was curious to try and get it working again. Given it was missing the docking station, I found this one and went ahead and ordered it. I haven't had a single issue with it. It didn't give any charging errors or complain and it charged the vacuum and it ran perfectly fine.

Our four-year-old Roomba was often having problems seating itself on the base. My husband has cleaned the contact points and done regular maintenance on it throughout the four years. I saw this base with the brushes for $35. We've paid $15 for 3 sets of brushes, so this was a very good price for two brushes and a new docking station.I wasn't sure if I was going to have to do any setup on this station to connect it to our Wi-Fi, but it was plug-and-use! I thought it was only the Roomba that required setup, but I couldn't remember.When I got the docking station, I tested the Roomba to see if it had trouble finding the base and docking on it without multiple false attempts (as has been the case). It docked correctly the first time. I've run a full cleaning since then, and it docked correctly once again. I'm hopeful that the docking station was the only solution we needed to getting the Roomba to dock correctly without a lot of human assistance.

Same Specs as OEM. According to the attached label, this item has the same input, output, and precautions as the OEM stand alone charger (just charging – no bag emptying). As such it takes roughly the same amount of time to recharge our i3 vacuum. The only obvious differences are in the pads under the charger and the length of the cord (see pix). The cord could be too short for some, but for us, it just means less cord to keep out of the way of the robot vacuum. We like it as a good generic alternative for charging, so I’m giving them my 5* rating.

I have the iRobot Roomba i4. When the robot stopped charging, I switched out the original factory item for this charging base. This looks exactly like the one that came with my Roomba. It even has the iRobot logo on it. Can't tell the difference. Works fine!
