Really great value and comparable quality to XT bottom bracket but for people who don’t care about weight difference! Works great on my 24mm race face crankset and will work great on any shimano crankset as well! WillBuy another one when this wears out!

This bottom bracket is a wonderful replacement for my 2001 Schwinn Passage! It is quiet, efficient and helped solve my free play wiggle on my chain. I was a little worried because I had a bb51 bottom bracket and was wondeting if this bb52 would fit? It did and I really don't notice any diffetence between the brackets. I got this bb52 bracket because I needed spacers and it came with 4 plastic spacer washers I needed to properly fit my bike. It has mountain stamped on the bracket I'm assuming because it's primarily used on mountain bikes but it works perfectly on my road bike. I'm so thankful I'm able to keep this Schwinn operational because it belonged to a previous cyclist that was tragically killed while riding a different bike so it has great sentimental value to me and I promise to ride this bike in honor of a wonderful person that loved the road as much as I do and remember why life is so precious when riding a bike!

Mated this with a Shimano Hollowtech crankset for a gravel bike build and could not be happier. Easy install, quality machining made this possible. If it holds up like other Shimano parts I have used, which it should, I will be satisfied.
