Parts came without thread sealant, which renders them useless unless sealant is applied. I attempted to use sealant + teflon paste but it still didn't work and fluid leaked around threads. I can only assume that with the right type of sealant applied these fittings will work as intended.

These are awesome if you are going to bleed your brakes by yourself. I bought the 7/16 - 20 to replace the bleeders on a DB 42 Trailer Buddy caliper on a Ranger Trail boat trailer. I swapped bleeders and then flushed the brakes starting on the farthest caliper. I was able to hook up a clear tube to the bleeder and used an empty Gatorade bottle with a hole drilled in the cap to feed the tube through. This allowed me to sit at the trailer tongue and manually push the actuator to flush the lines. You just have to make sure your filling the brake fluid constantly to avoid getting an air bubble. Once you have it flushed, tighten it up and put the dust cap on.

If you have old wheel cylinders beware, the thread sealant will strip the threads out of the cylinder.
