Had to modify it from original. It was meant to go in direct to weed Wacker. I put it in a power head of an expand it tool. Ryobi does not make long lasting tools. The motor in the original power head caught fire and burned up.

I replaced my original Ryobi weed watcher with this motor and it seems to be quieter, more powerful, and it looks like it doesn’t use as much battery as the older one. I’m very happy with it.

Original motor burned up after 7 years. This is an exact replacement. If you're handy with tools and a little common sense, then save money and replace it.
