Normally I take a medium but large fit ok. Padding is a little stiff first time out. Hopefully will soften with use.

I bought these just to see how a $30 pair of cycling shorts compares to more expensive, name-brand shorts. Surprisingly, these are pretty nice. The quality of the fabric and stitching may not be up there with the big names, but the shorts are comfortable seem fine for an hour or two on the bike. The chamois is fairly thick, but it works. Time will tell if these hold up. All in all, not bad for the price.

Product quality is good but L size that I ordered is large for me. I can’t even return since return cost itself is $20 and not worth it. I would still recommend if you can buy right size.

As other's have mentioned, these tend to run a little small. I think I read somewhere that the sizes are based on Asian measurements.I'd likely order a large, but I got the extra large and they fit well. The banding around the things is a little snug, but that helps keep any insects or mud out.Take note of the washing instructions on the huge tag inside. I didn't, and noticed tonight that all the letting on the tag has disappeared. I've only hand washed these, so I have no idea what the regular care instructions are.I wash, rinse, wring, then hang to dry. They are often dry by morning, but buy yourself two pairs if you ride daily and don't want to deal with a damp pair.Cushioning is adequate, but my commute is only 7 miles each way.My last insight is that of leg strength. If your butt hurts from riding, it is most likely not your shorts, or your saddle. The cause is often weak legs. Without enough strength to keep you OFF the saddle, you end up sitting on it like it was a seat, or a chair. Get your legs stronger and the pain in your butt will diminish.

Had to purchase three pairs (returned two; thanks Amazon) because the size was to small or tight, not so much in the waist but big time in the thighs. First bad was on me in that I missed the seller's note regarding Asia size vs. western or USA in my case; it's apparently a 1 inch difference with Asia (mens) clothing sizing being smaller... whatever. The medium was an oblivious no-go; again, my bad. So, tried a large. The waist fit okay but again, the thighs were WAY to tight. Many thanks to one reviewer, aka "An Informed Buyer" who posted a sizing chart with what at least for me turned out to be an accurate cross reference between waist/thigh measurements and the manufacture's named sizing; i.e, Medium, Large X-large, etc. In the end, the large had to be returned and exchanged for an extra large which is still a little tighter in the thighs than I would like but I can live with that.In terms of performance, it's all very good! Other than cycling underwear I've worn in the past, this is the first pair of regular cycling shorts I've purchased and am quite happy with the comfort, support and overall feel, even on extended or very hard rides. The padding's just right for me; my nether's aren't complaining.Edit:08/26/20Recently ordered and received another pair of Santic's cycling pants. Not much to say other than 4th time's the charm this time around... all good.
