A client dropped off his old bass for a major mod including new pickups and a custom harness with an Italian made MAMA preamp. To save space in the already crowded control cavity, we opted for a concentric pot for both pickup volumes. These knobs worked perfectly on the small form factor potentiometer.

Even with spacer sleeves added to center the knobs onto the shafts the halfs of the knob rub and turn together, the set screw for the upper knob sits above and misses the shaft all together on CTS pots as well as the three other pots I tried it on , all of which are common sizes that would fit on commonly owned guitars. They might work on long shafts but there is not much of a gap between the knobs , only a hairs width. therefore the shaft must be a tight fit otherwise the set screws will push the two halves together

I added these double stack knobs to my V7 bass. I mixed chrome and black knobs. Really love how these look on the bass. The feel of the knobs are much improved due to their weight. The weight of the knobs makes the center detrends easier to feel.

I ordered the chrome finish option. For the price, I thought this was a fair purchase. I didn't need two sets, but it's fine to have an extra set. The top knob uses a black dot to indicate position. The bottom knob uses a small metal slot to indicate position.The only issue I've had is that the inner part of the threaded hole wasn't deburred or cleaned up, so there was some metal which needed filed down in order to fit on the potentiometer shaft. However, I was able to clean that up and it works fine now.
