This is the 2nd one that I'm returning because it's damaged. The 2st one was even more beat up.It is too thin and bends easily.It is only .035". Sadly, I ended up buying a China made one that is over twice as thick 0.076" and about twice the price. I'd gladly pay 2½, 3, or even 4 times as much for a USA made one that's as thick as the China one.Saunders needs to step up their game.

This metal clipboard is super sturdy. Got it for my husband's bee booth, and the size is probably bigger than I anticipated. It is 11x17 which is really large. Very sturdy, and the spring on the clip at the top is very heavy duty as well. Should last a long time.

I teach labs where a longer clipboard is needed to hold schematics. This one is perfect for that. Very well made too.

This clipboard is way too big and way too thin to be functional for me. At first I thought the size would be okay, even if it is on the bigger side. However, once I realized just how thin and bendable the sheet of metal was, that's when I knew it wouldn't hold up to much use and that it would end up failing me sooner than later. It has a nice finish to it, and it looks pretty good, but it is just too flimsy to be able to do anything with it other than hold up a paper. You can't write on it effectively, nor can you carry it around easily due to its cumbersome size. I wanted to like it, but I just can't. I'm unimpressed. If it were not so flimsy I would have given it a pass.
