These are beautiful pans and perfect for glass top stovetop. Super smooth bottom. There is a heavier weight to them, but not as heavy as cast iron.What is disappointing is the product description indicates PFOA-free. That and the smooth bottom are the reasons for the purchase of these expensive skillets.The ScanPan box that they were in has a outside sticker labelling the cooking surface as Stratanium. Peeling off the sticker is a list of the names that make up the non-stick surface and PFOA is listed! Be aware!

Die Pfannen sind beide sehr gut, wahrscheinlich was die Antihaft-Eigenschaften angeht mit das Beste auf dem Markt. Auch die Hitzeverteilung ist - soweit ich das einschätzen kann - sehr gut. So viel wäre zu erwarten bei hochpreisigen Pfannen.Leider ist keine Schüttkante vorhanden, bzw. der Abschluss bauartbedingt nicht zum Schütten geeignet also versaut man sich dabei (zB beim Ausleeren von Gemüse mit Soße/Fett) immer die äußere Pfannenseite und den Boden. Naja man kann nicht alles haben.Das Versprechen auf der Herstellerwebsite oder auch hier in der Beschreibung, die Beschichtung sei "resistent gegen Metallutensilien" wird jedoch absolut nicht eingehalten. Nach einmaliger Nutzung eines Edelstahl-Pfannenwenders habe ich die für Teflon (oder ähnliche) Beschichtungen typischen Kratzer in der Pfanne.Auch Scanpan kann eben leider nicht zaubern und es handelt sich bei der Pfanne damit leider um eine, zwar sehr hochwertige, aber letztlich ganz normale Antihaft-Pfanne.Eigentlich würde es von mir drei Sterne geben, ein Stern weniger für die Schüttkante und einen Abzug für das "Marketingversprechen". Da Amazon aber problemlos ausgetauscht hat und ich die Pfanne von nun an wie eine ganz normale Antihaft-Pfanne nutzen werde, gebe ich doch noch vier, denn Antihaft kann sie wirklich verdammt gut.

Have used the smaller frying pan and does eggs easily and no sticking. Keeps heat evenly. Wipe and rinse.

I like it. I use it every day. Even if the food burns, heat it up well. There is no scratch on the pan yet.

I’ve bought and thrown out numerous sets of non-stick pans. Even the nicer Green Pans and Bialetti pans have never stood up to normal daily use. I’ve always taken good care of them and hand-washed only, but their sub-par manufacturing and materials simply deteriorate quickly. However, the first time you hold a Scanpan in your hands, you know this is the tank of non-stick pans. It performs amazingly, cleans effortlessly, and hold its beautiful finish better than any nonstick pan I’ve used. The cost may be prohibitive for those on a strict budget but for the number of pans I’ve had to throw out due to their quick demise, I’d highly recommend spending the extra bucks on this quality pan.
