Fairly easy to install and looks good. Had similar problem that others mentioned regarding smoothness of key turn. Sprayed with lubricant and now turns easily. May have to repeat application of lubricant in the future.

La chapa tardó en llegar un poco más de lo esperado, pero valió la pena. Cuando la mandé a instalar, al momento en que el cerrajero la miró, me dijo que era la mejor chapa que había visto mucho tiempo. Al comenzar a usarla, inmediatamente nos dimos cuenta que es una gran compra. Es una excelente compra

We have a narrow (32 x 80) back door with a large lite. Because of that, the door company would only pre-drill for a 1 1/2" diameter deadbolt, 2 3/8" from the edge of the door. The Schlage deadbolt adapts to the small diameter hole and adjusts to the 2 3/8" center with no problems. Because it is right beside the glass insert, it is keyed on both sides so it cannot be opened easily by breaking the glass and reaching in.

HelloI am new to Amazon.ca and this purchase was the the first for mepurchasing a material product from on the internet .This product works great and is completely what I wantedand what I had ordered , other than some damage .My only disappointmentwas that the interior side of the deadbolt was damaged .It had/has a small dent and some very noticeable scrapes on it .I had ordered what I assumed to be a new product ,but some of the plastic packaging had been opened ?Because of some time constraints I had installed the product ,and I do intend on keeping it .I have no other option , once I had installed and used it .So far the mechanism of it works great !But in my situation the appearance of the productwas part of the function of the product .I will be very hesitant to ever order another productfrom Amazon or from the internet in general .Buying sight unseen has proved to be too risky for me .Caveat Emptor !UPDATEDI have now used this product for 10 months ,and other than the slight damage to some of the finish ,I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED with it !I have since replaced all of the door sets in my housewith Schlage products , and am very pleased that I have done so .
