These mugs are soooo cute. My husband and his mathematically oriented friends love them and I get wifey of the year award from the gents and the ladies for getting these as a gift.This cat was one of the first physics related discussions me and my hubby had when he tutored me in high school, so it’s dear to our hearts 💕It works perfectly, two mugs, two cats 🐈 🐈 one living and one cutely demised.I checked with my hubby and the equations on the mugs are simplified but mostly correct (where they aren’t being ‘cute’).My only complaint is that I inevitably get the dead kitty 🐱🤔 but that’s nothing to do with the mugs!The mugs have a slight texture to them, it doesn’t bother me, but it is less glossy than most mugs. I’ve seen other mugs that turn and they have this same texture on them, so it’s part of what let’s them turn. Nothing bad, but something to be aware of.There are also a lot of cautions for cleaning and care of the mugs. No microwave, no bleaching, no scrubbing, not oven safe, no dishwasher, don’t use too hot of water.We treat them as a special thing and wash them with every use so they don’t get wrecked in the sink with the other dishes. They’re totally worth it!

Schroedinger's cat is the kind of nerdy gag that makes one laugh out loud they first time you see it. The picture exposes beautifully when hot liquid is poured in. Not wimpy of fuzzy like other products I've seen. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the product and the imaginative humor of it. If anyone you know has ever referred to Schroedinger's cat in casual conversation (or even Occam's razor) this is the gift for them. And you'll seem hyper intelligent for giving them this very clever and well executed gift.
