Every time I go free diving or spear fishing, my weight’s location would always shift. I’d have to adjust their placements from time to time but with these retainers, they don’t move along my dive belt anymore. I have the generic size rubber dive belt and these fit just fine. A bit snug feeding the belt through the retainers but not too tight where you’re forcing to push it through.It’s plastic so it doesn’t add any additional weight and I don’t have to worry about rust. For plastic, it’s a bit pricey but it does a great job for its intended use.

These little things are great, really solid plastic and the ribs are very good to grip into the material you are threading into. I use them with my weight belt and they keep with weights exactly where I want them. I recommend this product.

They really work! I snorkel a lot and find that during a dive the lead weights will tend to slide around on the belt. These little clips will keep the weights exactly where you want them.
