This arrived quickly and was exactly as described. It appears to be strong although I’m only using it as a tie-down.

This works perfectly on my 12' princecraft boat to hook cable from trailer. Very sturdy.

Scariest part is drilling a hole in my new to me Gheenoe to add this bow eye. But I did it and it was easy and worked very well. Make sure you have an extra deep socket...I didn't and it was a major pain getting a wrench up in there because the Gheenoe is so narrow. Other than the length of the bolt it worked great. I hooked it up to my trailer winch and pulled it the last two inches up and it was perfect. I took the boat out for the first time this morning and no problems with it holding for towing on the trailer or launching/recovering the boat. I didn't want to buy a U-Bolt looking one and having to drill two holes and I also like the way this one looks over the other style. I would definitely buy again if I needed another one but I don't think I will for quite a while. Very strong and secure!!
