I like this it’s one item that takes the place of two works great as a dock pole, and a paddle it also extends pretty far she could use it on a bigger boat

The way the quantities were listed was confusing since it provides and option for 1, 2, 3, etc., and then there was an option for “PACKS” with no explanation what it meant. The option for 1 was twice as much as PACKS, yet the price for PACKS was comparable to other similar paddles. I decided what the heck, let’s get the “PACKS” and see what comes. Fortunately, it was the single paddle that was being advertised which is what I had hoped. Looks great, unique design compared to other similar models, and seems to be good quality. If they revised the confusing way they are being listed, I think they’d sell a whole lot more at this price!

I have two of these in a motorboat for backup in case of engine trouble. They also serve as a support when deploying or retracting the Bimini top. One paddle alone is strong enough, and can be extended or retracted easily and quickly, to support the weight of the Bimini (crossbars). The handle (slot) built into the paddle surface is nice when using the paddle as a hook to pull the boat over to the dock, retrieving a rope from the dock, or anything in the water. Reasonable price and great multi-purpose paddle!

For what it is, it works well. I didn't buy it with plans to have to use it as a paddle too often, just for loading and emergencies. I did buy it with the intent of using it to catch the docks when coming ashore and for that it works really well.

I ordered this telescoping paddle to use on my fishing boat if the event of engine failure. I have an old wooden paddle that has worked when I needed it. This is a big improvement. It takes up less room, is longer and has the hooks on the end. The shaft is very strong and the locking mechanism works very well. The blade and the connections seem very well made. There is a slot cut out of the blade that works well as a handle so you can reach farther with it. I am very happy with the paddle and believe that it will be perfect for my needs.One warning. Twisting the 2 halves of the shaft locks it in place. This twisting results in moving the handle so that is is not in line with the blade. Also the handle is plastic with hooks molded into it. I don't recommend this paddle for use as a main canoe especially for long term distances because of these 2 points reducing comfort.
