Sensors should last a good amount of time definitely longer than five weeks! Took it back to the mechanic he purchased another from a different site and the car works fine again and of course I’m beyond my return window so now just stuck with a non working sensor and two charges from the mechanic!

el cable es aproximadamente un centímetro mas largo que el cable original, no sirven de nada ya que la tapa de la batea se maltrata al abrirse porque pega con la defensa

One of my tailgate cables was corroded in half and the other was well on its way. It took just a couple minutes to install these and the tailgate is as good as new. I installed these over the summer, and a few months later they appear to be holding up just fine.Not sure I could spot any important difference from OEM. Same length, good fit.

Worked for a day and then failed. My mechanic said sometimes they are designed a little differently for teh California emissions requirements. I don't know. All I do know is that it didn't work in my 2019 Chevy Equinox.
