I am useless at not just cracking an egg but trying to separate the yoke from white when making meringues.I found this gadget helped me break the egg open and then easily separate the yolk and white. Sometimes you have to lightly shake it to facilitate this (if the white is a bit thick) but even when I broke the yolk I was still able to separate it from the white!! Usually I’d have to just chuck that egg, but it made the cut 😁I popped it over a mug when using it so that the whites went in there and could then be transferred to my food mixer bowl.Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone who wants an easy life!
