These tabs for sorting your vinyl record collection are actually quite attractive. I have the neon pink ones.There are only 6 dividers, each with pre-engraved lettering that is machined into each piece. ("A/D," "E/H," "I/L," etc). I think that I would prefer having a few more dividers to help spread things out, instead of only 6 tabs.A 7th piece is provided, though, that is engraved with "NOW PLAYING" on it. (Something that I don't really need, or use).Each divider is a transparent rectangle that's just a bit longer than the side of an album, so it will stick out. The engraving is done at each end in a different orientation: one side for VERTICAL usage; the other side for HORIZONTAL use. When used vertically, the tabs are (fortunately) just wide enough so that they don't easily tip over and vanish into the stack of records.Unfortunately, since the material is TRANSPARENT, when these dividers are used HORIZONTALLY, you will only be able to read the lettering in its correct orientation from the RIGHT side. Trying to read the dividers from the LEFT results in reversed lettering, since you are looking through the transparent BACK of the tabs.(And, don't even try to flip the tabs over so they're readable from the left, because then the lettering will be upside-down! Just accept it as one of the design wonders of geometry!)These are not overly expensive; and, a total of 5 or 10 additional divider pieces would really help keep the volume of records in each division, between tabs, down to a more manageable level.

These can be used horizontally or vertically and very nice looking. Noticeable. Well worth the price.I would buy it again if I needed more. The only thing that would make it better is if they offered some customization like a certain artist that you have a lot of their albums.

These are fun and functional. The designations are at both ends, and oriented so that you can use them both ways, up and down or sideways. So glad they did that. Nice to be able to pick something out easily and quickly without having the flip through all of them and search. These are great.
