What you see in the photo is what you get, some good quality fishing hooks. So far I haven't had any luck, but it's still early in the season so hopefully I'll catch some fish soon. The functionality is what you would expect for a hook like this. This feels durable and the end is needle sharp.

There's a lot to like about this shaky jig head. First the 4/0 EWG hooks are super sharp, strong, and have the shape that keeps fish on the hook. Hooks with a circular round bend allow fish to get off easier than this thick shank hook design. Secondly the large chartreuse eye seems to attract more fish, also observed while ice fishing (with other jigs of course!). Thirdly, this has a detachable bait keeper, which is good and bad. The good is that this bait keeper holds the plastics securely. The bad is that the first thing you should do is attach all of these bait keepers to each jig head, which is a bit of a pain but you will develop a routine after the third one that doesn't take long. The final good thing about this jig head is that it will stand up when on the bottom of the lake, enticing fish to bite the swaying plastic tailsImprovements that could be made include each jig head, even the small ones, have a big 4/0 sized EWG hook. I hoped that the smaller jig heads would have smaller hooks. It would be nice but not completely necessary if the bait keepers came attached to the jig heads. But lastly, these would be phenomenal if they were tungsten instead of lead. I would probably rate this at 4.5 stars if it were possible.

I grabbed these for fishing in farm ponds and the river. All I had to do was add a trailer, in this case it was a Berkley Gulp Leach. If I wasn't snagged I was catching bass until I ran out of daylight. These are best used in a finesse situation, clear water and even sight fishing. I decided to try them in the river since it was low and the current wasn't bad at all. I caught a dozen crappies, two smallmouth bass, and a small channel catfish. I was hoping to get some whitebass or a walleye that might still be in the river after spawning. I didn't catch and but it was a good day andthe jig matched with an orange twister-tail in the muddy water. The hooks were sharp out of the package and the whitish silver color helped to get the fishes attention. Even after bouncing it over rocks and wood the paint didn't chip as much as I thought they might. I need to order some more sizes and colors for use on the Lake Erie Reefs. Cant beat the cost of a well made bait.

These are good solid, well built shaky heads that are perfect for bringing in the big ones. The shank of the hooks are sturdy, not really thin wire, and they come with a screw attachment for your plastic baits. This gives the fisherman the option of where to tie, or to add the attachment, giving this bait multiple functions. I personally like the unpainted head, with the painted eye. It gives me the option to add color, or just use as is, because the eye stands out well anyway. Also a great value when compared to similar at the big box stores. Also comes in various weights and sizes. I'm super happy with these and will definitely put them to use soon.
