This is a great stabilizer for my beginner compound bow. I am still learning and this helps tremendously to steady my release. It does increase the weight of the bow, but thats the whole point. It also blends well with my camouflage finish. Does its job really well.

I'm new to archery. Well, I did take archery for a couple semesters in high school, but that was back in the.. ahem, cough.... 80's...I have some property and wanted to have some fun punching holes in targets with something quieter than a rifle.So I picked up a 36# recurve. I am no Robin Hood, but I can hit a target close to where I aim for... at least most of the time.I added this stabilizer to the recurve bow and it helps to keep things steady. I'm not an expert, so I can't say how much of a difference it makes, but it is a noticeable difference from using the bow without it.I'm enjoying the sport and hope to improve. This stabilizer helps a lot. I haven't tried any others, so I can't say if it is better or worse than what's out there. I can say that it is made well and does what it is designed to do.

It's well worth the price. The production quality and paint are just as good as stabilizers that cost twice as much.
